Directly related, the Trueno is a riot in the rain. Although given recently been pulled over by a collection of police vehicles at the same time, puntin it sideways has me looking in the rear view almost as much as out the side windows. Thankfully brisbanes 4 star wanted levels only result in an infringement notice rather than a glock to the face. Dont learn that on the bussss.

Also picked up Forza3 like the day it came out. Its pretty cool, there doesnt seem to be that much diff from 2nd one, but the little changes make it a much better game. Anyway, i got a whole bunch of cool cars, and figured out you can take cool photos of them and upload em while ur playin.

This is the best car in the game. Slammed IROC Z28 with a set of headers. Not even jokin, treat it like someone else's VN. Can't be bothered throwin it up on photobuck, so deal with grainy shit pics, anyway, I think be able to link em all to forza account soon? dunno. I recommend this game, tho needs a patch for more tyre smoke, 3rd gear heli's out of a tired 350 should blaze pretty hard. Also got back into iRacin again for like the 3rd time, should get promoted to next class now, super excited to race the old Lotus, as I'm gettin pretty bored with trundling in a Solstice, and skip barbers are just too horrible to look at. Hope the rest of the week is more rainy days and videogames.

A few weekends ago was Speed on Tweed, not too dissimilar to Speed Dont Weed. Anyway, this year a WRC round was being run at the same time using the SoT course for its Super Special Stage. I've never seen a WRC car in action before, and to be honest, havent even wanted to go out of my way to see one since I dunno 1994 or something. Like when they seemed to drive like rallycars instead of some 1:1 scale scalextric shit.
Still with it being at the same venue I thought it would be worth the looksee.

It sortof was, it just reinforced my decision that modern rallycars are shithouse, and I dont mind being proven right. For starters though, Im not sure if the course was the best for a SSS. I thought the Supers were about doing jumps and 180 spin turns and shit. All the SoT track did was make these stupid WRC cars look even worse. Keelin over so much they're almost scrapin doorhandles on the tarmac, and the amount of grip, compared to the power, they just looked boring. To make things worse, aside from the rattatat antilag, they were quiet. Like really quiet. The only highlight was some honky driver gettin real hot into the corner we were at, and sliding his Evo's rear quarter less than a foot from the wall on every run. I guess he was as bored as we were.

The next day though, the usual SoT event, was hella cool. Was kinda sad not to see a few of the regular cars that I am in love with. McKeown's Zed, where r u?
